For
my wonderful school years in Okinawa, Japan I wrote our class song.
We practised, recorded, and performed it.
Where are they now?

Sadly, Patty is no longer with us. I wrote
a SONG
in her memory.
To score this piece, I listened to the recording
and captured my improvised introduction as accompaniment. The melody is
easy to harmonise to. The piece begins in A minor but ends in C major.

So many things come into my mind.
Of all the dreams I've left behind

Twelve years ago wed
all begun
This journey to broaden our sphere
Through many a fight and many
a tear
We emerged with so much done.

We suffered, conquered,
but came out strong
We regained all thats gone
astray
We boasted and bragged and had
it our way
But too soon we know itll
end not long.
