Mayor's charity fundraiser

The Mayor of Ealing invited me to play at his annual charity fundraising dinner. It was a special event designed to raise donations for his chosen charities: parkinson's disease and the Ealing hospice.

Known as the Queen of the Boroughts, Ealing is one of the greenest areas in London.

Thank you so much for performing at the Mayor's Charity fundraiser on the 19th of December 2003. I was so grateful that you were able to attend at such short notice and entertain us for most of the evening.

I believe an enjoyable evening was had by all; I hope that you managed to enjoy the evening in between performances. I also received many compliments on the choice of entertainment chosen to accompany dinner and hope that you received such compliments on the night too.

I am pleased to announce that I have now raised just over £20,000 for my chosen charities; I thank you for your invaluable support.
