Bon Journal

Jamming past midnight

After several games of pool in a village pub just outside of Guildford, Surrey, we drove to the music building of a private school.

There were all kinds of instruments lying around -- a musician's heaven. We went to the largest room which lived a Yamaha grand piano, an organ, a drum set, a xylophone, a saxophone, a violin, and a viola.

We tried different combinations of

- piano, guitar, drums

- organ, piano, guitar

- piano, xylophone, guitar

- organ, guitar, drums

- violin, piano, guitar

and played to our hearts' content well past 1 am.

Where else can three die hard musicians jam at this hour?
